The Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial is proud to hose six events focused on the incredible work and talents of the over 1000 artists that originate in the American Southwest.

Best in Show Night, August 7, 2018, 4:30-8:00 pm Art 123 Gallery

One night exhibit featuring the top award-winning works of art entered into the Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial Juried Art Show, including Best in Class and the coveted Best in Show.  (Free Event)

Native Arts Exhibit Opening Night & Wine Tasting, August 8, 2018, 6:00 pm Red Rock Park Convention Center

This event features a first look & first chance to purchase all of the unique art in the exhibit spaces.  Enjoy meeting artists, food, wine, live music, and door prizes. Tickets to this event will be available at the Ceremonial Office by calling 505-863-3896

97th Annual Juried Native Arts Exhibit Hall & Arts Market, Red Rock Park Convention Center

  • Wednesday, August 8, 6-10pm
  • Thursday & Friday, August 9 & 10, 10-6pm
  • Saturday, August 11, 11-8pm
  • Sunday, August 12, 10-1pm

This arts showcase features award-winning handmade jewelry, paintings, pottery, weavings, sculptures, kachinas and more. Shop for the best of the best in Native American Arts & crafts and wander through to meet and shop directly with the local artists.

Gallup Ceremonial 2017-42

Native Youth Artists Exhibit,    Red Rock Park Convention Center

Ceremonial celebrates emerging native artists and awards prizes for juvenile entries for ages 3-18 years old. This collective showcase of youth artistry will be displayed and available for purchase within the Native Arts Exhibit Halls.  This is your opportunity to invest in a next-generation artist and to foster their budding careers.

Artist Awards Presentation, Friday, August 10, 7:30 pm Red Rock Park Arena

Building up to the Centennial Year, Ceremonial is increasing the award amounts given to the uniquely talented Native American Artists showcasing their work.  Awarding over $40,000 in prize money, the artist check presentation ceremony presents awards to the top winning artists of the 97th Annual Juried Art Show.

Native Artist Demonstrations, Red Rock Park Convention Center 

Periodically throughout the hours of the 97th Ceremonial Juried Art Exhibit and Arts Market various Native American Artisans will demonstrate their remarkable craft to the public.  They will showcase sand painting, weaving, tufa casting, and more.
